These textures are wonderful! They are from the title wich has great scenery. There is one thing I'm not happy about and that is the JPG format. This compressed methode takes down quality on the textures. Sure it takes down bytes but it is not a right format. It should be original copied right into TGA or BMP. JPEG format should be forbidden for textures as I've seen bad quality too much. No offence!

For a first attempt this is very high quality. The best thing I like about this object is the mesh itself. All faces around the arch are nicely devided and this way no face skips a vertice. There are many objects made that way and creates gaps in between wich creates awfull see through lines in game. Here the object is solid and thus it's perfect. There are only some useless faces underneath the mesh but that is not really a problem. What I miss is the internal lighting as these objects are static. There is none so you must add it yourself in strpix. Textures are applied well. Now place this gasplace in your room and feel cozy :)

Well what to tell about this kind of textures? First of all I want to thank Christoph for these great files! It just saves you a lot of time to rip them yourself but the most important thing is that you get them uncompressed in BMP format and not JPG so the quality is 100%! Usebility is somewhat restricted as the textures from Sands of Time are from India. The Two Thrones (probably coming later) is Persian but Warrior Within has a more fantasy style. It's also the darkest episode of the trilogy. I think you can make the best fresh surroundings with these. In any case it is never wrong to add all textures to your collection for inspiration or object building. There are also enough different wall and floor textures. Simply fantastic :) Edited by Piega

This is also a really stunning outfit. It's theme can be used in a wide selection of custom levels. Personally I think the face is too tiny compared with the rest of her body. I know that the proportions are right for a real human being but her face is so tiny in game that a lot of detail is lost. And that's a pity as you will only enjoy details in close up. Also her sleeves on her arms are too high. If they were lower it would look more realistic. I never saw some one with his sleeves rolled up so far. What bugs me in general are the bend faces on every outfit I've seen. As they are tiny you wont notice that much in game but they really are there. What is also sad is the "walking of vertices" creating little bend fingers and weapons. It's also minor and a not the creator's fault. It is a problem of Meta and Stripx together. What's left to say is that this outfit is a true gem and I am very fond of the collar of her blouse as this really looks 3D in game in combination with lighting. One to keep!

Thank you for your review.;) About the sleeves, sorry but my friends and I usually do it on summer time. It may because of different culture. The I made some detail just because I want to avoid that if someone see it in close up suddenly. I just hope you review trangel and me wasnt because you still thought trangel and I are in a competition. We release our outfit at same time doesnt means we still in a competiton. Its just a coincidence, ok? When I click "add an item", I havent saw trangels outfit. And I never know he will start adding an item at same time. I release it because I just finished it and Zolee told me he hope I could release it as soon as I could. If you dont think so, you can ask Zolee, we chatted all night long untill I finished this outfit. Well, just want to let you know because I think you have thought trangel and I was in a competiton, maybe this time too. ;)

This is a really stunning outfit. Normally I'm not the type to go into outfits but this time I will make an exception. The face is very, very good and it's the best one I've seen so far. I'm not sure but I'm almost positive that you used the original headmesh from Legend. Not that it's bad ofcourse cause it is the best thing to start with. What bugs me in general are the bend faces on every outfit I've seen. As they are tiny you wont notice that much in game but they really are there. Luckily the most faces are divided into triangles on this outfit. What is also sad is the "walking of vertices" creating little bend fingers and weapons. It's also minor and a not the creator's fault. It is a problem of Meta and Stripx together. There is one bug though and that is the face when she shoots. It is not there in the wad so TRangel you must fix this. Textures are small wich keeps the texture pages low. There are still 3 though but in general you can make a decent level with this amount of texture pages in your wad. To conclude this is a very though outfit especially when you use it with the motorbike. This is an outfit to keep!

Well what can I say. I was instantly blown away only by the idea. I find this very inventive on how to revive a simple enemy into a fantasy attacking book. I instantly thought of a level in a castle in Merlin's library where Lara tries to steal some sort of potion. But the potion is protected by the evil flying books. Edit: Sorry, I switched the point for usebility with textures :) So the usebility is not very high but still high points cause it serves well in it's theme. Actually the only object where the usebility is for every level is Lara herself. So here a new enemy and the best fresh idea in months I saw in here! Edit: Sorry I switched the points for usebility with textures. Edited by Piega

I'm always curious about animations. When you look around there are plenty made but are never released. Why? Animations are the hardest step in custom level building and it takes some practice to get good results. And those that are good are kept. Here Lara stretches. The animation itself is not bad at all but it has some flaws. The first thing is that the animation is not fluid and the end position is a litlle bit jumpy towards the first frame. We also have a camera problem. It go's down with stretching. Why this happens has usually to do with the headmesh as the camra is hardcoded to this. The usability is high cause you can use it anywhere you want. You have to adjust the numbers in the state ID and change the number of frames or Lara will freeze a few seconds within the animation. Not perfect but a good start :)

Wonderful new textures. There are some I can use perfectly to create a different environment to prevent double atmosphere surroundings in my one themed game. Well they are original but not made from scratch so I keep the original value half :) The usability is high as there are many different textures. You can give your level a new look as the textures are fresh and not tomb raider like. You have to adjust them in a paint program and a lot of detail gets lost this way but hé we are talking the old editor here. There is one thing I would like to add: There are many textures that have a blue glow on the left side of two pixles wide. Just copy two pixel lines from the right side and paste them on the left. Resize and they are still seamless without quality loss! Thanks Tombcool for these wonderful textures!

I never used a spider before but now I have a reason cause it fits perfectly in the environment I'm working on now. Original, well what could be original these days. It's not importent but this classical tomb raider spider is still frightning. The only very little minor point is that the little spider's noise when it's walking on the floor is too loud. The usability is high. Dungeons but also attics and nature scenarios. Unlike other enemies it's hard sometimes to add two custom enemies in one wad cause the same slot is often used. Here you get two for the price of one. A little and the big spider. The little spider jumps on you. I find this a cute spider but it will poisen you! The big one is harder and a more serious killer. Well what's left to say Baddy makes top quality conversion enemies for the TR4 engine! Edited by Piega

Well what more can I add? It works perfect. I remember a level with the tight rope but Lara was balancing too much to the right each time. Now you wont have to bother about that and now you can use this bugfree animation to your game. Be sure you dont use the polerope in the same level cause it is replaced with this tight rope. Thank you Devoid! But why version 1? Could it be better? Now what rest is that if this is possible so can the swing pole (hint hint :D) I know that this is already in some levels but not perfect. The animation is too fast and not realistic. Edited by Piega

Very cool enemy. I think this enemy is not used very much because of the usability. I though the enemy was a lot bigger when you look at the pic but it's rather small. The enemy works perfect but as it is with TR3 enemies they are easely stuck in a wall. Grey boxes can help between stair slopes around corners. So apart from that the enemy works perfect! I tried 3 in the OCB as the readme says but I got no different effect. Because this is in the baddy2 slot you may want to keep this enemy away from some ammo. He acts like a baddy and will take it. Funny thing though I placed one on a pedestal but the lizard is too little to reach it :) Edited by Piega

Well what can I say? I had the privilege to have a preview of this object. It looks great in game and the candle inside is very cool. This is the most atmospheric lamp I've seen to date and has much polygons. A little too much for the TR engine if you ask me. This lamp would fit better in a more recent game. So if you want to have your 64 x 64 textured tile look old place this lamp against it :) Except for Egypsian themed levels you can use this lamp almost anywhere. It's in an animating slot so be sure to use a sunbulb or other light to make the glass brighter. Top quality!

Well this is a perfect converted enemie. Although I played Tomb Raider III I cannot remember this one. Anyway the sound effects are great and they are not replaced with others in your samples folder. So other sounds are not in the way. This makes this objects very friendly to add in your wad. The enemie is fast and will poison you quickly. He moves very cool and looks scary. The downside is that this enemie is easily stuck in a wall, in an outside corner for example. This is ofcourse not your fould Scott but I think of the Tomb Raider III collision setup. So keep the area simple where you use him. You could argue where to use this kind of enemie but that is up to you. What's left is that this enemie is very cool and you will find it in my game :)
