Tomb Raider VI Kurtis Outfit Remake by Po Yu

I Think I should add my review here before the other one is deleted... First of all I must say...I really do beleive this is the greatest Kurtis Trent Remake made as of now! Originality-9/10 Some people may have no noticed this but this is the 5th Kurtis Trent Remake! I was actually surprised! I never knew we had 4 other remakes of this outfit! Even though we have that many it is still original. It’s not like we have 20 Kurtis T. Remakes. Quality-10/10 I checked this Outfit in Strpix,Animation Editor, and In-Game. This outfit is amazing! You even have all of the Joints working Porperly! This must have been very hard to do! Since all the joints are included there arn't any bugs that I found! Usability-10/10 I can really see this outfit being used everywhere! Cities,Jungles,Arctic,Deserts,Anywhere! Custom Textures-10/10 All of the textures were made by yourself! You did a great job! And it only uses about 1 1/2 pages! Even though I think the shoe textures could be a bit better ,but In-game they don't look bad at all! The hair texture wasn't detailed ,but you can't get very detailed with dark hair so I won't mark off anything on that! Overall these textures are amazing! They were placed soo gooood and It makes the outfit look almost Identical to the AOD Kurtis! Custom Meshes-10/10 As the Said before you have made every single Joint Compatible with Kurtis! It must have took a very long time to get it all working correctly with this outfit! His arms are well done and the Head is amazing! The black shirt sleeves are and the undershirt sleeves are both well made as well there not this Textures placed on Kurtis's Skin Custom Animations-10/10 Amazing work! Im very glad you released a better version! First of all the animations are amazing! Originality: There are many Kurtis Trent outfits but yours best. So I will give you 9 points. Quality: I can’t find any bug! You are very good! Usability: Hmmm… It is usable for… as B.B.B. say, it is usable 4 almost everything so I will tell you for what isn’t: that is winter levels, water levels… moon levels… ---It is usable! 10 points! Custom Textures: I think that you could give him more textures 4 that dark-blue.-grey shirt, hair, & shoes. But anyway, in game they look fantastic. Face textures are realistic, pants are amazing & that little bag looks very good! You did very good job! That is 10 points! Custom Meshes: Meshes are perfect! They have many details and all of them look great. I can’t imagine how much did you spent time on those joints. It’s perfect! Head is perfect! It looks just like in traod! I like those pockets in pants. This belt with bag is also good! Great job! Custom Animations: I like the way he takes the pistols & he walks. Now it looks like a real man! But you could do it little bit realistic & I believe that you will work with! But this is still 10 points! *** This remake is best Kurtis remake, and rest of your remakes is very good! Firstly, let's thank Po Yu for this great outfit! When I was told that he was making this remake, I was very excited. 'Cuz I know this boy is talented! When I downloaded it and test it in game, I found it works perfectly! Original: Although it's a remake, but I think it's more than a remake! Because you can see some creative things in it! So it deserves a 10! Quality: The quality is 10 because it's really perfect! Never ever I have seen such a perfect outfit! Useable: Of course it's very very useful! Because it can be used in all kinds of levels. Custom textures: They are done well and textured properly. I think it deserves a 10. Custom meshes: All of the meshes are well created. It's super nice! Custom animations: They are created in only less than 1 week. And all the actions and anims work well in game with no BUGS! Well done! I'm looking forward to your next outfit!

Po Yu, why dont you create something really bad? I'm tired to say that your outfits are amazing! I was just joking. Original: It's based on another game, and this is not the first Kurtis we have. But I don't want to give you 9, it deserves a TEN! Quality: I saw some small bugs on the shoulders, but, it happens all the time, and that's the very only problem on this outfit! No other problems! Full score again! Useable: Remakes are always useable everywhere. THere aren't many Kurtis levels out there, but it is just because the authors don't want at all. 10 again. Textures: Have you ripped them from AOD? Well applyed, well done... 10 again. Meshes: perfect again... Animations: Probably the best part. In my opinion, the most important new animation in a male character is the walking one. And this is so great! I remade my test level just to test this outfit and its animations, but I do not regret doing it. In fact, I want to build a Kurtis level just because of this outfit! Keep working, talented boy!

This is by far the best Kurtis Trent remake I have ever seen! Original:Not very original because there are already a bunch of Kurtis Trent remakes. Quality:Very very good quality! Useable:Can be used in pretty much any level except arctic levels. Textures:Very good! Taken from AOD maybe? Meshes:Awesome! Kurtis with skin joints! VERY well done! Animaitions: I loved the new walking and gun anims! This must have taken you forever! Keep up the good work!

This outfit really blew me away! There's no denying that immense work must've gone into making it, and seeing how well the meshes and textures work together really shows it all, especially when looking at the new joints! :D However, it is not flawless. Let's take a close-up look! Original: 8 This is the fifth outfit of Kurtis, and the fourth one in this outfit, including the many objects we have using the same concept. That is not saying that it's bad to have many outfits with the same character, it's just that the outfit is getting old. Hopefully we won't get another one, as this one's nearly perfect! You get an 8! Quality: 10 This is coming from über bug-detector MNG, Po Yu, so feel proud! :P The quality is just amazing here, and the new joints are simply amazing, they all work flawlessly! And everything has been correctly remapped, so no broken joints in sight! Also, the normals are working out great, nothing to complain about there. For your hard work, you get a 10! Useable: 9 The outfit is excellent for any Kurtis-level, and should be used if the need is there. What draws the useability back a little are the samples included. They work, but they have a slight Oriental sound to them (I'm thinking Po Yu's own voice here!), which doesnt work for Kurtis, who's a Caucasian. Male outfits definetely need correct sounds to be useable, but here the user might have to look for samples on his/her own, to find some that sound more like Kurtis. It's still a very solid 9 though. Textures: 10 They are, simply put, perfect. They are taken from the game, I presume, and have been undergoing some serious editing to match the meshes! They flow well into one another, and give a smooth, realistic look. A 10 4 U! Meshes: 9 I'm looking at an amazing job here! The meshes in Kurtis' model closely resemble a man, and don't have that typical female look over them, like most male meshes for TRLE do. Proportion-wise they are very good, though there's the matter of gun-meshes. Whenever Kurtis grabs his weapons, his hands reduce to the size of a woman's hands (Lara-sized), and it doesn't take much looking to spot the difference. The fact that you didn't go over the gun-meshes much has also lead to the fact that some of the meshes look differently on his back than in his hands, and the crossbow goes into his back as well. The hand-meshes for the weapons could've been worked a bit more on, but they are correctly remapped, at least. It's a solid 9! Animations: 9 Finally a male outfit with good animations! ...mostly. The weapon animations are amazing, and though they are slightly jumpy at the start, they work excellently, and make the "holsters on chest" concept work very well! The way the flare is taken out is amazing, and really shows that Po Yu didn't settle for taking the flare out of the neck! The walking animation is a little choppy, and the way Kurtis walks isn't quite that realistic, as his feet are too far apart (when you walk, your legs often bump into eachother slightly), but that's the only real problem with the animations, as they transfer into eachother fluently, and aren't buggy. A nice 9 for your work! Overall: 9,17 An excellent outfit alright, and it doesn't take much work before it easily gets full 10's! By far the best male outfit we have, and really shows what Po Yu is capable of!

The best Kurtis outfit on the site(no offense to other outfit creators but it is simply the best) Original It is just the remake of original outfit from TR6,so how original can it be?But I won't down-rate it for that Quality All meshes are perfect and there are many beautiful textures that are ALL well placed Useable It isn't useable for all types of levels but since this is a remake it can't be different Custom textures Textures are all great and there is many of them. I wonder how were they created.(extracted from aod?) Custom meshes Meshes are great and it seems that they are not copied from any other outfit.
