Dragon Rollingball by GeckoKid
Description
Well This replaces the Rollingball, 170 vertices and 300 polygons, textured my way in photoshop CS. That is saying, the 3D mesh, the textures (and the photograph i took it from) are all my work. Please credit me if you use it. The screenshot is an in-game one.

10 for originality, because this is a totaly new object. And the idea of making a dragon as a rollingball trap is fantastic! 10 for quality, because the textures and the mesh are really good done. 8 for usability, because this trap can't be used everywhere. Would look strange in a egyt pyramid;). But I can imagine this beeing used in a asian temple or a museum. 10 for textures, because they are really detailed and look simply amazing. Wit the shining this dragon looks, like made of silver. Cool effect. 10 for the mesh, because it's detailed and looks amazing and is well polygonized. This thing is definetely a must-have!

Wow! This is a must have for oriental levels! The meshes and textures were some of the best I've ever seen! The shine effect makes it look great too! Keep up the good work!

I've never seen something like this before. It won't be useable everywhere, but in castle levels it would fit great. The original rollingballs are boring so this is a great alternative. The textures simply look awesome with the shiny on it. Needs to be placed in rooms with good lights. The meshes are great too. Big sharp edges but I think there is no other way since you get close to the limits if you make smooth edges everywhere. Animations are hardcoded of course but they are still great. The object is anything except a nice balll but it rolls perfectly like the rollingball.

Wow! This is a great object for any oriental level. It's extreamly original, I think this is the first rolling ball to be anything other then a boulder (aka Lara squisher). And it's a dragon! Wow! The quality is wonderful, the shine effect makes it even cooler looking! The textures are great, they look great and it totaly resembles a dragon. And a cool one at that. :) It's not all that useable, one because it's a drangon and two boulders type objects arnt used all that much in levels. The meshs are perfect, the edges are a tiny bit sharp, but I'm amazed that you were able to get all that detail in a rooling ball object! Awesome job!!! :D :D

Originality: Never been done before! A very original idea indeed. Quality: It is just the right size to roll realistically, and the overall quality is brilliant. Usability: Obviously it would suit an Asian level fantastically, but there are not a great deal of other environments it could be used in. Custom textures: The texturing is excellent, and the 'scales' on the dragon also look very realistic. Custom meshes: The mesh of this object is extremely original and also extremely well created. A more than suitable alternative to the traditional 'ball' shape, that works just as well. I personally think that this is the best rollingball currently available for the editor, and that great credit should be given to its creator.
