Cate Archer - Casual by MrNiceGuy
Description
The second outfit in the Cate Archer outfit collection is the Casual outfit. Cate wears a flashy orange and green dress and orange boots. The outfit uses heavily modified meshes and textures from NOLF, and Poison Ivy's amazing skirt mesh, which folds like real fabric! Thank you for making it, it made this outfit so much better! Included are the weapons from the first version, as this is joining the competition as well! I hope you'll like it, it took a long time to get the textures right (and they're still not entirely perfect)!

Originality: a lot of n.o.l.f. outfits, but this the first dress looking (I think)! Quality: No bugs found. Usability: It is useful for n.o.l.f. levels and for spring-summer time levels. Textures: In the game they are perfect, but something’s wrong with the legs, but it’s not big deal & it is very easy to fix that. Still 10 points… Meshes: Everything’s ok! Especially head & chest mesh. This outfit is VERY good (and outfit before)! I can’t wait to se your next outfit!!! Original: There is already a remake of this outfit on the SE and it's an already existing character, so I've lowered it a tiny bit. (please don't kill me! Ooo, a 9!) Quality: Nothing to lower the quality, it's about as perfect as an outfit can get. I would give this outfit a higher rating, but the top limit is only a 10. Useable: Great usability for NOLF levels, also maybe a party level, because of the dress. Not the average Tomb raiding outfit, but I think if anyone were to make a NOLF level this would be perfect. Custom textures: The textures are perfectly placed, must have taken forever to get them just right! The quality of every texture is wonderful! It still amazes me how well they have been placed, every texture fiting together so well! 0.0 Wow! Custom meshes: The head mesh, like in the other Cate outfit, is beyond amazing!! It's so 3D and so... perfect! It'd be cool to see other characters with such detailed faces and hair! But for now I suppose I'm just left to awe at this one. :p The skirt by P.I. works great with this outfit as well, it really makes it look much better than a regular skirt mesh. Every mesh on this outfit is great! Overall... an awesome outfit!! :D I hope you continue to make more NOLF outfits! :) [i]Edited by Trinity[/i]

MNG, how are you doing this!!! These Nolf remakes are not really remakes seen as how they look so perfect! Remakes are usually different in some case but these are so close to the originals you completely forget your playing Tomb Raider and your sent straight into a mission to foil H.A.R.M's plans. Original: Though you made a a Nolf suit before I can't deduct marks since the actual outfit is completely different from the catsuit. That would be like rating an outfit down in originality if it was Lara Croft but almost every outfit here is Croft. So full marks in originality. :-D Quality: Despite the slight bug in the knee I found know bugs and I know how difficult those bugs are to fix. The outfit also looks great and the skirt mesh works fantastically! Original: Cate used this outfit in labs, clubs, bright city areas, dark alleys and on a tropical island and jungle. I'd say it can be used anywhere. Textures: They look as if they are a single texture file UV mapped right around the model. Its a very difficult thing to do and you've done an exceptional job at it. Well done. The textures are also nicely sized and are of very high quality. Meshesh: Wow! MNG, these meshes are fantastic. That head mesh just tips the limit of vertices allowed. The overall meshes are extremely well shaped and look so realistic to Cate and to actual human body parts. Well Done!! Final Note: Congratulations Mr Nice Guy on another incredibly succesful outfit. Cannot wait until the remainder of you NOLF creations. I'm sure they will be amazing.

Thank you for the review! I'm always happy to receive reviews (if they are fair), and if it's also an all 10 review, then I get REALLY happy! :D Then, there was a disappearing polygon problem... I've had dealings with those before. Unfortunately such are VERY hard to fix, as the meshes must be built so that you can see more than half of a polygon in-game from all angles, and not even the original outfit was perfect here (few outfits are...). Seems like it was a bit more visible here, though. I'll look into it for the next Cate outfit.

Oh, I'll make at least one more NOLF outfit, maybe even more. There are three remaining in NOLF 1 (one which I won't make and one which I'm not sure if I'll make), and 3 in NOLF 2. We'll see. Wow, I'm getting all humble here. :) Thank you for the review, it's not often I get that many intense compliments on my outfits, and by all means, I love it! :D I'm glad to see that you liked the outfit, and yes, there'll probably be some more NOLF outfits from my part in the future. ;)
