Jeep Wrangler Sport by baudabing
Description
This is the Jeep Wrangler Sport edition, in my favorite color - yellow. This item fits into the jeep and vehicle_extra slots, as well as the puzzle_item1 slot for the ignition key. Awesome car. The thing rides just like a jeep too. Color change should be easy by the way it’s textured, and adding a roll bar top as opposed to a canvas one shouldn’t be that much of a chore either. Use WADMerger to insert the stuff into your WAD. All meshes and textures were created by me. Feel free to tweak as needed and if you decide to use it in any of your projects, no need to praise my name, but just stick it in there somewhere (like in a Special Thanks section, on a texture tile, or something – I don’t care). Don’t forget to check out my other items and stuff like that.

The first thing I said when I saw this was... WWWWOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!! And I mean it, wow! This is amazing! This should deffinetly be put into the compition (I don't think I'll add my VW now, lol!!)! This is great! The meshs are about at awesome as they can get for a car, they look so perfect! And they fit well too. The textures are just as impressive! I can't belive the quality of this! This is outragously amzing! Yes, I'm easy to impress. :p Originality has got to be a 10. It's the first Jeep like this. It's yellow. It's awesome! Quality has also got to be a 10. Everything fits wonderfly, and looks simply amazing. The meshs are great! Useabilty is a 8 (and a 8 & 1/2 if I could). Even though it's a jeep, because of it's color it can't be used everywhere, but almost. This'll look great in a city. Won't be too good on the stealth thing. and I can't see this jeep trucking down into a tomb. But as you said the color can be changed to fit into a level. :) Custom textures are 10, for a car these textures have got to be the best I've ever seen! And just look at the wheels! Awesome! Custom meshs are also a 10, just one look and you're won over. They are all perfect and look great! I know this will be used for levels, for like, ever! :p :D :D :D AWESOME JOB!!!!!! :D

A truly impressive effort indeed, maybe not for every environment due to the colour, but one can adjust that on your own if needed. Otherwise - maybe I'd liked to see Lara in the car while driving (though you can see her at several angles and reverse gear), but that's not all that important, and I can't really find any fault here, a great vechicle, one of the best to choose out there!

9 to originality, because a jeep already exists, but it's the first one on the searchengine and it looks much better. 10 to quality, because it has no bugs and drives like a real car. THe meshes are good and textures, too. 9 to usability. I wasn't sure about usability, I didn't know if it's a 8 or a 10. Cars could be used everywhere and nowhere.A car can't be used in tombs and temples, but Lara can drive with it to a temple/tomb. I decided to take the 9, it's the middle ;) 9 to textures, to be honest: yellow is awfull, but it hasn't influenced my ratings, because it's not a hard job to change textures. The yellow textures are a little bit plain, but you covered it by using the shinny effect. I like the detailes on the car. You textures the inner parts of the doors different and the glass textures made the car look more realistic. 10 to meshes, they are extreamly good, no holes, no double faces! I like all the little detailes, like the mirrors and the jeep logo on the car and the stearing wheel. All this make the jeep look very realistic. For a beginner(on the searchengine) this is really professional stuff you'r making!

Well. I had to give maximum ratings for all the parameters as I think this is an awesome vehicle. even maximum for originality because even though its a jeep its what I would have done also because its the vehicle I wanted! It also uses all the advanced tricks I had in mind. And it does look like some custom animations here but if not they match this vehicle perfectly.So a 10 there too! Usability a 10 even though it cant be used in all levels its Usability as a vehicle is perfect! I have already been modifying this jeep to my tastes so as a vehicle to "tweak out" its perfect fodder! I may release my modified version later with proper credits of course! I cant say enough about the quality of this object! Obviously the creator is very familiar with all the advanced tecniques needed to create a professional looking and working vehicle!

actually i agree with you eTux, it would be nice to see more of lara... i was considering doing a roll-bar top instead of a canvas one which would give you a much better view, but hey we'll see - maybe i'll whip one up tonight... even though i prolly should get packing...
