It's great to see some quality new car statics for us builders who like to create urban environments! Those blocky TR3 and 4 ones we've had to make do with were starting to get a bit boring. :P
I've rated this highly in originality, because although it's a TR1 remake, IT ACTUALLY WORKS LIKE THE ORIGINAL CENTAURS!!! The movement, the behaviour, and the whole blasting-Lara-with-fireballs thing. And it's the first time I've seen a TR1 Centaur on here that actually does that. So kudos to you! :D
I used to love your old Kurtis 'outfit', but that pales in comparison to this one. It really does look like it was lifted straight out of AoD and into the Level Editor! :D The modified animations are a nice touch, if just a little jerky in places, and it's convenient having the new sounds already included and linked to the animations. As far as Kurtis outfits go, I think it would take a lot to top this!
This is certainly something different! I always enjoy a good non-Lara 'outfit' for variety, and what could be better than a revamped TR1 villain? The textures I'm guessing are largely from TRA, but they are used well, and the meshes are nicely detailed without being overly-so. I particularly like this version over the TRA-style outfit, since I always felt Pierre looked his best with long hair ;) The custom weapons are a nice touch, too.
Now if only there was a Pierre enemy with this much detail!
The animation is so fluid and smooth, and I love how light-footed and 'bouncy' she is compared to the original running animation! My only qualm is the camera tends to be a bit more shaky following Lara's movements, but you get used to it after a bit. Either way, I think I might just use this in my current project! :P
I love this, it makes such a change to seeing the standard 'flat' trapdoors you get everywhere. Although the poly count is a bit on the high side, that shouldn't matter with TREP or TRNG. The texturing is kinda simple, but they're high-res so at least they're detailed. As for usability, I've marked it down purely because it wouldn't look right in a more modern setting. It's ideal for a Peru or Jungle style level though.
