This outfit is quite comical. The meshes wern't all that good, mainly because of the head. It's just a streched sphere with a smaller sphere, supossedly representing a nose. A drawn on face and mouth looked more than cheesy, which made me laugh. The rest of the textures were flat with nothing to them.
The meshes were good, but they didn't work with each other. For instance, the leggins that reminded me of something a horse would wear looked good, but not with the panties that Lara is wearing. I didn't really care for the hair bits, cause they didn't fall from her head properly. It looked like a couple of them were floating in mid air.
AoD outfits are getting a little old. The originality factor has diminished to a low. However, there are several parts to this outfit that makes it better than the rest. The pants meshes were good; I especially liked the way they went around the shoe. The jacket mesh was also very good. What I didn't like though was the headmesh. It appeared to be smashed in. The nose also looked a little too weird. The texturs were good, but I think some could have been a little smaller.
Originality at its best. The quality was good, but there were a few problems. For one is the gunflash. It looks cool, but it has a sudden drop off point. If the texture fadded into black, it would have had a much smoother transition. That's not a big problem though. What is, is when it replaces the gungflash of the uzis and the revolver, cause it looks/sounds weird with the beams and regular sounds. Useability was high for the enviorment that I tried it in, but I don't think that a level designer would give it too much thought. The outfit gave this alien feel to it. Not like creature alien, but it made the Tomb Raider experience totaly different. I didn't, for one second, feel that I was playing with Lara. Texture use was good, but they were way too big. The LE doesn't show half the detail that the textures showed, and it gave them a weird appearance in game. Meshes were really good, I really liked the headmesh.
This is one of the most originaly created enemies I have ever seen. The meshes, although could have been higher poly, were good enough to deserve a 10. The textures were among the best custom ones I've seen. I'm glad that people like baddy spend so much time to create amazing enemies such as this.
Quality over quantity I say!
The originality is marked low because of two reasons. The first being, it's almost the same as the fist one, just different color shorts. The second reason is that this outfit has been created before, several times before. Green shorts and a white shirt. In fact, I created one in my early outfit creation days.
This dog is purely awesome! I has always been said that a immortal ememy would be impossible. It is impossible, but in the way that most were thinking. Most would think of just shooting the enemy and it not dying. GoldenDawn, however, found a different way. The animal does die, but from what I assume, its animations were looped so that it would get back up and attack. Very cool effect, but the animation needs some work.
I almost deleted this outfit without even taking a look a while back. I figured though that several outfits arn't always as they seem, so I d/l it to make sure it was one of those outfits. Needless to say, it was, but it wasn't very good at all. The textures are dull, and everything else is the same.
There were a couple bugs that I noticed with this outfit. First is the neck which was noted above, but also the hands. When pistols are holstered, they are the normal blocky hands. When the pistols are drawn, however, they turn pitch black.
The outfit itself was just textured a plain black, nothin special there. The meshes were almost non-existant other than the headmesh that was taken from TR5.
The headmesh doesn't look good at all. It just wasn't built correctly, for one, and for two, it clahes with the rest of the 'outfit.' It's really not that different than the original Core creation, other than some of the textures were replaced by skin.
The straps on the backpack are 3D, but the backpack was still connected to her back. The belt was also 3D, but it didn't look as good in game as the actual mesh. I think if there were better textures used for the belt, it would have looked better.
It's nothing to special. Other than a 3d belt, fingers (with fingernails that are hard to spot), and a color change, there isn't a whole lot that's different from the original.
