Alias #1

While I was hanging out at my friends house on a Sunday evening, he told me about this new show called Alias. Instantly the red wig that Sydney Bristow wore caught my attention. It took me a while to like Alias, but after watching it at my neighbors a couple more times, I was hooked. At that time, I was trying to think of new outfit ideas for the LE when I thought that Alias would be the perfect inspiration. I wanted to create a new hair style for Lara, but the short hair had never been done before. The only outfits at that time featured Lara with her original hair style, the ponytail. I decided to take a daring step and finished the outfit with the short-haired headmesh.

It was immediatly accepted by the community with everyone commenting on its headmesh as its best feature. I started thinking of new ideas for my next Alias outfit since the first went over so well. I watched the previews for the Season Finally and found what I wanted to model it after.

Alias #2

So that's when production for Alias #2 started. I was still a newby to outfit creating at the time, so it took me around three hours to re-color the hair to a blue, add a chocker necklace, and add a mesh shirt. Alias #2 was also a big hit, but not nearly as much as the first. I pushed the thought of making a third to the back of my mind, and started making other outfits insted.

Alias #3

After Season #2 of Alias started, I began thinking about making a third outfit again. In the first episode, Sydney wore a beautiful red wig, but she didn't wear a hi-tech catsuit with it. Alias #1+2 were known for their use of the shining feature, and I wanted to keep that up. It wasn't until later in the season when She wore an outfit similar to the one in Alias #3.

To make the hair like never before, I created the left side to curl around her ear, mainly cause it gave it more originality, but also because it had never been done before. Another thing that had never been done before, was remeshing the back pack.
I created it to look like the one in the same episode that I got the idea for the outfit. I wanted this outfit to be the best of the best, and it required a lot of work. It took me a total of over 15 hours to create the meshes (mainly the head), texturing, testing, and retesting. Since its release I have received several awards. All that for my doing what no one else had done before.

Alias #4

After the HUGE sucess of Alias #3, I thought about creating a fourth. It seemed like a long drought between the third and the fourth outfits, and in between I only created one other outfit. Without ideas, I began thinking about the series. What did they have in common? The all featured shiny black textures with short haired wigs, most of which being red. So I thought to myself, why not create one that was different? That's when I began having ideas for what is now Alias #4.

The headmesh was slightly altered from the third, with this one featuring sunglasses and small bits of hair coming from the top over the face. I wanted Lara to have some new weapons, since she was always using her plain pistols. That's when the idea of silencers hit me.
I also looked on the internet for other weapons to replace Lara's old ones. I fell in love with the glock 18. After several hours of meshing, both the silencer and the glock 18 were added to the outfit. Alias #4 didn't go over as well as I had hoped, and I thought this was the end of the series.

Alias #5

After creating Alias #4, my outfit creating skills soared. With the help of Michiel's review at the TRLE Search Engine on #4 and a couple others, I know what not to do. Several concepts came to mind but none of them seemed good enough. Finally, I thought of creating a wetsuit. I drew a couple images for it and worked out the color scheme. It wasn't until I created the head and chest meshes that I realized they wouldn't live up to Alias vibe. It wasn't until the begining of Alias' Season 3 that I had an idea for Alias #5. In one episode, Sydney wore a beautiful red dress with an amazing red wig. I started production on it right away investing five hours into the headmesh alone. Deapite my efforts, the wad corrupted due to joint problems. It wasn't until an episode in late march that I would get inspiration again.

In that particular episode, Sydney wore a red wig with black roots coming underneath. With that, I took the idea of the red dress from before and ran with it. I wanted to give her unique footware to go along with it, so I created hiheeled boots.

I am hoping that this outfit will bring the series back to life again, and possibly be the best of all my previos works. I have no idea what I want for Alias #6, but I want it to be different, something that has never been done before.
